![]() ![]() ![]() You need to know for which chipset / which binary you need to copy to the set-top box, to the /usr/bin folder and, of course, also assign access rights attributes to the files. If all else fails, then it remains to use your own manual SoftCAM installation procedure, using your own startup "init.d" script and using your own binary. Mgcamd refuse to run when booting Linux (set-top box) ? Or does it refuse to run if you try it through a linux shell (terminal) ? Or what exactly is going on there ? I can't advise if I don't know what's going on in your case. If the softcam refuses to work, then please write why. Alternatively, only one that you mention, i.e. Use only one SoftCAM and not more ! For example, use OSCam, which is probably the most popular. Why is someone always trying to achieve this ?! It's useless ! This is an unnecessary burden on the CA interface. Despite my best attempts, I cannot get any of the 3 soft CAMs working with PLi, the ones that are available in the downloads, FYI I cannot also get it working with BlackHole either. ![]()
